Weight-Controlled Flame Light
When small stick-like elements, reminiscent of twigs, are placed into the lamp, the previously reddish glow gradually brightens. Flickering, spark-like effects emerge — as if a real fire were being kindled. The dynamic color and brightness changes are programmed via Arduino. A built-in weight sensor measures the added weight and translates it into light intensity and movement.

Hanji Paper
The lamp is made of traditional Korean Hanji paper and emits a soft, flickering light that mimics the behavior of real flames. Its form is inspired by wooden logs leaning against each other in a bonfire, while the integrated LEDs subtly vary in color and intensity — even creating spark-like effects.

Modak
Modak is a unique lamp that brings the warmth and charm of a bonfire into your home. Instead of a traditional dimmer switch, you control the brightness by adding or removing small wooden logs. The more logs you place, the brighter the light becomes—just like tending to a real fire.
Modak was designed to recreate the comforting ritual of gathering around a fire. It invites users to interact playfully with light while evoking a deep, emotional connection to warmth, memory, and togetherness. More than a lamp, it’s an experience—a small piece of magic for everyday life.
